BKM Sidekick installation

Connect your AI without copying a secret into it.

The public BKM plugin carries the usage skill and the Sidekick MCP address, but no credential. Compatible clients complete OAuth with Sidekick; public access to the plugin does not grant an invitation, account, entitlement, or service availability.

First identify this exact client, version, operating system, and native plugin or marketplace mechanism. Do not guess commands or inherit a support claim from another client. Never ask me to paste an API key, password, authorization code, access token, or client secret. The plugin contains no credential; use Sidekick OAuth. Pause when I must complete browser login, consent, restart, workspace approval, or another human-only step.

After installation, confirm that the BKM Sidekick server is enabled, complete OAuth, and verify that the service contract can be read. Report plugin installation, Sidekick authentication, tool discovery, contract access, and calculation verification as separate results. Before any quota-bearing assessment or calculation, explain the test and ask once for confirmation. If anything fails, preserve the bounded error and stop instead of repeatedly retrying or silently changing configuration.

After installation

Connected is not the same as verified.

The exact released client enables BKM Sidekick and completes OAuth without exposing credentials.
The agent reads the service contract at the point of use rather than relying on a public formula list.
A representative assessment and calculation complete only after user confirmation.
An exact retry creates no second charge; a changed request with the same retry identity is refused.
The client trace and Sidekick metadata-only ledger agree on the operation and outcome.

Compatibility can change when a client, authentication flow, plugin, protocol, gateway, or BKM contract changes. Every claim therefore belongs to the exact surface and version exercised.
